Fusion of the finest - Emotionally! With feeling! Rousing! Powerfully! This is Coastmen (description from www. saxwelt. de). Five experienced musicians with love to the detail and the passion, playing Fusion Jazz Rock. It's time, to experience Coastmen!
The musical energy from Coastmen are out of the compositions of Arne Koblitz (born in Hamburg, resident in Friesland) who taught himself autodidactically guitar, bass, keyboard and composition. Arne Koblitz composes in the home studio. His musical influence belong to Passport, Mezzoforte, Dave Weckl, level 42, Stanley Clarke, Rippin of tone uvm.

Biography:
Emotional! With feeling! Rousing! Powerful! These words are exactly what distinguishes the Coastmen and also describes the session in which Arne Koblitz and Martin Lonicer decided, in 2006, to found Coastmen. The other musicians, Roland Legantke and Martin Schwanke were quickly added. Kai Liedke joined our group in 2012.
The Fusion Jazz Rock music composed by Arne Koblitz distinguishes itself with catchy melodies, excellent grooving and a distinctive character all it's own. With a skillful mixture of fat riffs, excellent Sax Solos, fat keyboards, Slapbass Grooves and a big helping of joyful play, this music impresses, without fail, every jazz fan within hearing. This was recognized, in 2010, when we won the Pinneberg jazz festival award. Other appearances followed throughout Germany and other places accompanied by the Nail quartet. The highlight of this year for us was to play with the famous band, Mezzoforte, in Frankfurt and also to play for Culture Autumn at the island Juist.
With our aim being to play internationally at other jazz festivals, Coastmen is working steadily on improving and optimizing our sound. For us, our music remains our very top priority. We want to be the very best we can be. Our musicians play very well together and every single one already has a lot of experience in his instrument as well as on the stage. Thus, Coastmen is very well prepared to play evermore concerts and to continuously work at new song material.
